This morning, a member of the Kim Twins came to Kim's Guest House and picked me up. After lunch, we went to Myeong-dong just to see what's up. And guess what? We're going to be television stars!
So we were walking down the street and we see these people with a camera, a sign, and some other equipment. I tell Sam, "Hey go talk to them." And before we know it they walk up to us and ask me to do something. I didn't speak Korean so Sam took over and did what they want. Then he hands me the sign and tells me to say, "I live for my friend." So I do it. I don't know what will happen. As Yogi Berra once said, "It's hard to make predictions - especially about the future."

Keep your eyes peeled folks, you may see the two most beautiful Asians on SBS.

三民主義 to the Rescue

WILD DAVID CHEON APPEARED!
Being a tourist is hard work so I decided to take a break from sightseeing today. Harry told me to meet him at Myeong-dong aka 명동 aka 明洞 aka ming2dong4 aka ㄇㄧㄥ2ㄉㄨㄥ4. Whatever. It's basically everything 西門町 + 信義區 + 東區 wants to be (and needs to be) multiplied by a hundred. Equation 1 shows the mathematical relationship that describes this place in Seoul.

(1) 명동 = (西門町 + 信義
區 + 東區)100n, where n ∈ ℝ≥ 0.

This peak really does not do Myeong-dong justice.
Anyhow, we found a pretty good place to eat. Again, the picture does not do what it depicts justice.
As we all know, dessert is the most important meal of the day. 팥빈스 (patbinsu) sounded like a good idea and so we decided to get one of its variants. We popped into the Apple store and did a quick search on Naver and stumbled upon a blog entry of a great 팥빈스 place in the area. However the author said he/she did not know where it was. Great! So we wandered around looking for it. We were totally lost and about ready to backtrack to the subway and start over when the Nationalist Party came to the rescue.

While we were walking through an alley, I looked up and saw a very familiar symbol. I was about to tell Harry about how it reminded me of the Taiwanese flag when I looked down and saw
The place was deserted, devoid of all signs of life. The communists probably raided and killed them all. Damned communists. However some of that 三民主義 mojo must have transfered to us as right when we rounded the corner, we came upon the patbingsu place. Thank you Dr. Sun Yat Sen!

I ended the day early and came longboarded along the Han River, all the while thinking about how the glorious Nationalists gave us ice cream.

Migration

Hey boys and girls. I left behind Postech today and am now in the urban wilderness known as Seoul.
This time I wasn't as unprepared, however! Having spent the last two days learning Korean phonetics, I can now read and speak with the gracefulness of a soaring penguin and with the comprehension level of a moonrock. But it's okay, as long as I can read 바나나 so I can purchase Korea's best dairy invention to date, I am happy.

Actually banana milk is Korea's best domestic product bar none.

Muscles

The Brotherhood of the Iron requires its members to make sacrifices. However according to the laws of science, for every force, there is an equal and opposite conjugate. This means:
∑F = 0
∑F = Sacrifice - Sacrifice
- Sacrifice = Reward
I was up fairly late last night after quite an intense session so it was quite surprising that I woke up early enough to witness a very special event. I guess the sinewed God of Iron smiled upon me today. The faithful shall be rewarded.

As we all know, the Sun is the source of all energy on our planet. The Sun feeds plants. Plants feed cows. Cows make milk. Milk makes whey protein. Ergo, the Sun = protein.

It began with His Muscularness biting a chunk of this cosmic source of muscle.
He must have thought it tasted alright as he took another nibble.
I went to get a haircut and when I returned, about 80% of the Sun-flavored protein was gone!

I have heard that there are many other stars in the cosmos, some many times the size of our Sun. The capacity for getting really jacked is unimaginable.

Karaoke is serious business.

We all decided to go out, so we hopped onto our scooter and went for a ride.
We hit up the bar...
... and had a few drinks.
And after that we studied at the norebang
We worked so hard man. The study-party doesn't stop until the sun comes up.
After suffering a few casualties we were home.

A series of events unfolded

A fuzzy navel was visited.
After that we went to a beach with more parasols than sand.
There, a Kungfu Panda Cat attacked.
There was also a hotdog man.
We ended the day in what can only be a cross between 西門町 and 東區

Happy 4th!

Today we celebrated our
Let's begin with dinner.
After that we went to 7-11 and got some explosives to set off.
One of our roman candles went loose and set POSCO on fire. Whoops.
This is Jessica running from the scene of the crime.
Jessica likes her sparkler.
Then it went out.

Happy 4th?

I haven't put anything up for a couple days. But I just want to let you guys to know I'm loving U forever.
KH must have spent a great deal of time fixing this up on the 78 steps. YM better not break his heart.
The things that you need most are often hiding in plain sight. I'm sure glad i found my contacts before while I went completely blind.
